When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it

It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp. I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.

I see you have joined Avionics Technicians (AV) Mom; what will your SR's rating (job/specialty) be? You may wish to join, or at least check out, Sailors In Pensacola, FL For A School....Corry Station too!!, Parents of A School Sailors in Pensacola, Spouses of Sailors going to A-school in P-cola, and Airman Family and Friends and then Aviation Electronic - AE or Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) depending on his rating. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
