Welcome. Since you have changed your Username so that it does not include your last name, also do the following so that your webpage address (URL) above does not include your name any more: Look in the upper left hand corner under your picture and information; it says Manage My Page or Photo. Click on My Page. The next screen says My Page Settings. Go down to the Address and in the box next to “http://www.navyformoms.com/profile”, make the change to random letters and numbers or Lion55. Blessings to you and yours.
I am quite sure my son was with yours at the Denver Airport. I can't imagine there was more than one group leaving from here. How do you know that PIR is 3/26?
Hi again Lion55's mom! I laughed at your last post -- about your son learning to fold clothes, etc. --- we cleaned out his room before he left and I kept telling him it looked like an episode of "Hoarders" ... lol :) My personal e-mail address is Kmil65@hotmail.com ... feel free to write me there any time, may be easier than this huge forum (I have trouble navigating it too!) ... sounds like we are on the same journey since our kids left at the same time. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi. We have been to Charelston many times since we got married, and lots more since our sailor went there about 18 months ago. Great area! Tell your sailor to watch out for the alligators.
Hi--sorry I missed you on chat. My son is also an MM sub.
Don't know how far you are from Arvada, but there are some great moms over there. I met them last May at a packing party. Look up the Colorado state group. Also check out Molly's Adopt a Sailor--it keeps me occupied!
Contact Chris--she is close to you and the Arvada recruiters. She helps put together a lot of Molly's Adopt a Sailor packing parties and is just the greatest person. I was lucky to meet her a year ago when we got together for our first "nationwide" packing party. I'm down in Illinois by St. Louis.
