Good Morning cmacdon.  Thank you, working on my webpage has been my therapy! It actually helped me a lot.  My daughter will be going to (HM) Corpsman A-school in San Antonio. She's interested in the medical field.   Yay 3.5 hrs from Fort Worth, where we live.  What about yours?  Where are ya'll from?  I hope they're hanging in there right now.  I understand the next couple of weeks get very intense...worries me for them.

    cmacdon,

I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!!  We are a friendly, caring group of moms always willing to listen and support.  Please feel free to jump in and join our chats!!  We like to discuss everything from our sailors to our jobs, weather, whatever.  It's also a great place if you want to yell, scream, vent, cry - - there is no judgment involved!!!  Brag about your sailor but also tell us when you are hurting because you miss her so!!!  Looking forward to getting to know you and your sailor!!  Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!

Cmacdon,  I am very excited our girls get to go to SA together! They are forming lifetime friendships during this very stressful time I'm sure.  It makes me feel so much better too.  I am hoping for a letter this week, but trying not to over think it....don't want to be disappointed.  I just want to hear her tell me she is o.k, I have never gone this long without  talking to her.  I'm sure you feel the same!!  I will let you know if I hear anything and please do the same.  Talk to you soon... ;)

Good Morning!  I can't wait to hear from our SRs - or should I say "Sailors".  My son is going to A school in Pensacola, FL.  His job will be AO

Hi cmacdon! Yes my son is in SA, TX. He's MAA. Not sure what your daughter is. Congrats to her, BTW. My son started class on Mon already. I was afraid he would have to sit around & wait, but nope. He's loving it there. I didn't know about paying for food. He didn't mention that. That just doesn't seem right. He's rooming w/ another guy he just graduated with. Hopefully your daughter starts soon.

Divisions 263 and 264 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. Write to your recruit and ask when Battle Stations-21 (BST) will be so you will know when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.

I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening and what to expect.
