@Stitching4Joy - Thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes I think its a little harder on the girls physically. Rachel is so short that she has to take two steps for every one that someone taller has to take. I am more worried about her state of mind. She has a tendency to sell herself short.  All her academic life she would freak out over her tests and say that she was positive that she was going to get an F and then come home with an A on her paper. I soon learned to disregard that but, this is so much different. Rachel loses her voice easily and I know that the DIs really like when the OCs shout loud. 

 

Three daughters! That's a lot of girl power going on in you house!  I know what you mean, Rachel was only home with us for two weeks and this place came alive. I miss that terribly.

You had asked me if it is ok to post my comment on the FB page. I am new at all this so I have no idea what the FB page is but it is fine to copy and post what ever I have put on the site. I wlll keep you all posted since Hannah will see others while she is at the gym. It sounds like she is much more free to call while she is in holding for the 3 weeks. I was surprised how good she sounded after being put in holding. She says it will be good for her to prepare and feel more ready. She also said that she is one of the few that are already  signed up for the Navy and committed for the 5 years + 3. Most are there for OCS and then will decide if they want to sign up. Not sure why she didn't do that????

We will keep positive thoughts and prayers for all! I will keep you posted with any new info.

Hannah made her commitment in October. It is for 5 active + 3. She is a chemical engineer who graduated in May. She said that man of the kids have not made the committment and can walk away if OCS doesn't work for them.
