Retired as a Chief from USNR, did a tour in Croatia, Iraq and Afghanistan. My mom was also in the Reserves, now my youngest daughter has joined the active duty side, and is in boot camp!

    So happy you got her form letter today! How sweet that she's including her grandmother (especially once I read your profile about her being in reserves). Still waiting on my son's form letter. I read somewhere that the kids send them-my son's letter is probably stuffed in a drawer somewhere and we'll never get it (until he needs something)! Nevertheless, I checked the mailbox 4 times today! Happy to have new friends like you to share this experience!
