Since your recruit has a contract for Air Traffic Controller (AC), join Air Traffic Controller Moms and Pensacola, FL A School: NAS and Corry Station and check out Airman Family and Friends.

Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR, but may fly out on Sunday due to flight availability issues. Plan to leave on Sunday if you are able. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Divisions 137 and 138 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. Write to your recruit and ask when Battle Stations-21 (BST) will be so you will know when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.
