Hi! Glad to have you as a friend! I did find a ET group, but it's not listed as ET. AECF - FCs and ETs. I am member of the group. They seem to be very nice. Congrats on your new sailor!!!

Hi KJ's mom, wanted to welcome you to the AECF group! Looks like your son recently PIRed - so congrats to your new sailor. He is going into a great rate both ETs and FCs are good jobs with lots of schooling on the front end and well respected in the fleet. Expect him to spend 5 - 8 months in A school in GL and then he will move on for C school. Location and length of C school will be determined at the end of A school. Our group is a busy one, stop by often with your questions and/or concerns and welcome!

Thanks for the info. i will relay it to my son. We do live just under 300 miles away.

So, he could take the train to Indy and we live just south of there. So, we could

pick him up in Indy.  He is so homesick. He will be glad to know that there is a possiblity he might be able to come home some time.
    THANKS!!
