I am a Mom of two. My daughter is 23 and my son is 22.
My son arrived at Boot Camp on May 12th. He graduated on July 9th and will be stationed in Norfolk, once he gets off the USS Kearsarge, which he has been on since October.
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was concerned or afraid
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
my son graduated march 19th. i know its hard you miss him but remember to write often my son said mail was gold there and praise him a lot and keep giving him the you can do it speech cause it is what gets them through send stamps so he can write a.s.a.p. my son used mine the 1 st few letters. get family and friends to write. tell him funny stories. listen when he says things like im gonna kick the recruiters !!!! he will get mad but it doesn't last my son and my nephew both said it. but just rooting him on he can do it and will and go to his graduation if at all possible. but the most important is letting him know how proud you are of him every time you talk or write to him..
Hi There - You should recieve the form letter today or tomorrow or even Saturday... But you can call his recruiter and he will have his address now so you can start mailing his letters. If your recruiter is one that does not call back you can call any Navy recruiting office as long as you have his SS# and they will be able to tell you his address... I hope this helps... My son is in his 4th week and I still have not recieved a call or a letter... : (
