Hi, Your son is leaving soon. You will find lots of support here. The boot camp sites are great and when you find out his PIR date, when he graduates, you can talk with other moms with kids there at the same time. Are you going to his swearing in? My son wants to say good bye here at the house instead of SA. We will see I guess when the time comes. Bye, Kathy

Hi, My son thinks he saw your son at the Dep meeting last tuesday. He saw his picture here. Is that your kitty in the picture? We have 2 cats. What a mess they make. One is 18 years old and the other is almost 2 years. It really makes it hard when they leave from San Antonio. It is not that close and Ithink our sons just want to make a clean break from here in Corpus Christi. It must be hard being so proud of their decision to serve our country and at the same time knowing we will not be able to see them as often as we want. The one great thing this place is good for is to help each other in all these stages our children are going through. DEP, BC, A School, and then maybe ships. I am sure my rosary is going to get worn out before all this is over if it ever is. Have a good night. Kathy
