Just received a phone call from my son saying that he is being medically discharged due to a trouble spot on his knee from an x-ray.  Not sure why this wasn't caught before in MEPS, but I just have to trust in God that He has a plan for our son and the Navy wasn't in His plan.  He was told that he could have surgery, wait 6 months and apply for the medical waiver, but being that he went through a year of trying to get a waiver for the Air Force (exzema when he was 12 years old- no longer any symptoms). he doesn't want to do that at this time and I don't blame him.
