Welcome. Your Username appears to contain your last name. If so, you may want to change it AND your web address (URL) above so they do not include your last name to keep everyone safer. See http://www.navyformoms.com/group/newmomsstophere/forum/topics/if-yo... to tell you how to do BOTH. Blessings to you and yours.

I am not new to the Navy, I am new to this site. My son has been in for 8 years. He was in Navy JR ROTC all four years of high school. He enlisted while in high school and left for BC two days after graduation. He is a submariner on the submarine Santa Fe based at Pearl Harbor. He did two schools at Charleston and prototype school in Ballston Spa, NY where he was also picked up as an instructor for two years.

RosieOG...y, I see you have changed your Username so that it no longer contains your last name; you also need to change the URL to this page. Make changeĀ 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes change to Your Profile) (clickable link) to take care of that. (If you are using a Smart phone, you will need to switch to Desktop View to make this change.) Also make change 3 while you are there so that this page is no longer open to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web.

It's not a good idea to post a pic of your loved one every time you post so also make change 4. To increase PERSEC, don't include ANYONE in your profile pic.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with you or your loved one.
