A little about me:: I am a customer service rep for a printing company. I am the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of three. In my immediate family we represent three branches of the service, Army, Marines and today my Grandaughter left for the NAVY so we are a very proud military family.

I can't wait for PIR either. It will be my summer vacation trip! I hope that we can all be friends online here and help each other out. I am not sad or anything but excited for my daughter. I am a firm believer that the testament to good parenting is that your children can grow up and embrace life and leave the nest. I am so proud of my baby girl!

Hi Navy Nana ~ Thanks for the message! Yes, I find the PIR 09/02/10 group somewhat overwhelming. Some people seem to be able to stay online all day long! When you are searching for something specific, its hard to find. Anyway, I am so glad we connected! My daughter's name is Megan and she was selected to be the Master at Arms (the division police officer) which I guess has made her somewhat unpopular with the other recruits. Its one of the hard lessons of leadership. I pray for her all the time and will do the same for your granddaughter. Especially since I learned that this is "hell week." What is her name? i havent heard anything since last tuesday she was suppose to call this weekend but we didnt get nothing but we are leaving wed am to and we have to travel 8 hrs i would really love to meet you at the meet and greet wed nite are you going i really hope they did get the cup though
