    Since your SR has a contract for Sonar Technician – Surface (STG), join the group STG (Sonar). The Rating Information Card for STG can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/stg.pdf. Those who have signed a 6 year contract for AEF will have Apprentice Technical Training (ATT) at GL after PIR for about 6 weeks and then will go to San Diego, CA to the Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center for “A” School.     Cheryl, I just saw your comment from Sun and Mon.. I'm sorry. I'm still trying to get used to the site. Yes ma'm, I am going to go to Sarges meet n greet along with my in laws.
    I'm do glad you told me that the test they took was just to assess their fitness level. My husband left that part out.. Lol. That is more comforting to know
