Good Morning Jenifer, I just wanted to welcome you to the BC Moms group. We are glad to have you and we are here to help you through this new season in your life. As another new mom was sharing with me, she had someone tell her, "Don't miss your child until they have actually left." So may your days between now and the time to leave for BC be full of "normal" life and happenings, a fun July 4th picnic, maybe. - My son left for BC 3 years ago yesterday and I had his 2nd sister's wedding to be preparing for (his 1st sister married a couple of weeks before he left!). Staying busy and writing emails so I could see his face during the silent time was the most helpful to me. May you have a joyful day!
I left a message on your discussion. Sorry no one saw your question in the main room chat until this evening. I check the site on my computer off and on during the day and some do on their phones but it is not as easy to reply there, especially if you are doing a lot. I don't think there is a right or wrong card, as long as it is designed to be used with a pay phone. Most calls are only about 30 minutes long, though we have had some longer ones and generally they don't have more than 3 phone calls home. So if you buy a card with 3 hours worth of time, your recruit will most likely have minutes left over.
