Definitely confusing. If you are reading this message, then please scroll down and click on the link the join our San Fran group.Here are a couple of things that will help you. On a regular basis do the following.
1. Check MY PAGE - this is your personal page.
2. Check YOUR sign in / sign out box on upper right. Tells you if you have any friend requests
3. To go to your groups, click Groups, then "MY GROUPS" or you get access from your own page.
4. If you are getting too many email notifications, just click "Stop Following" whereever you see it - that will start to limit the emails you get. Don't stop all notifications because you then won't know if someone is sending you a message.
5. Just browse through stuff. Go to Forum, then HOW TO DO STUFF ON N4M, Read the discussions
6. Go to NEW MOMS STOP HERE (I am one of the admins) and read the reference stuff listed as PAGES underneath the member icons.

Hi Mom2e, I live in Livermore, my son left for NRTC Great Lakes on June 15 and graduated (with 1,003 other sailors!) on Aug 12. He is part of the Nuclear Propulsion training program and is currently in Goose Creek, SC, awaiting the startup of A School. When does your son/daughter leave for boot camp? ...Sharmyn
