Hi mollysmom - I saw that you had posted a note in the main room chat yesterday. As B'sNukeMom said, many people just don't see the chat room, for some it doesn't even show up on their devices.

If you go to your group and scroll down to the comment wall on that group, that is the best location to post your questions and to see about any feedback. Most members follow the comments in their personal email feed and are more likely to reply if there is a post.

I also recommend that you join the moms of daughters group. (click on the blue letters below). I believe Anna is the group leader and her daughters are officers, I think. My son is enlisted so I am not in the OCS groups, but I post in various groups on here and I do tend to notice the chats but only if I have been logged into the N4M site on my computer.

All the best to your daughter. If she happens to be assigned to Norfolk, VA once she is done with school, don't hesitate to reach out to me and maybe I can answer some questions for you about the area. If you want to go to someone's profile page, click on their profile picture and it will take you to their page. Then you may leave comments on their page, if they do not have it set to private. If it is set to private, you will have to send a friend request.

I posted this discussion in the boot camp mom group; you might not be able to post a reply, but you can read it - Private Messages - Creating & Sending + OPSEC - It explains how to do friend requests and our private messaging on this site.

    Have a wonderful Friday!
