How is it, by just getting the "box" and the "letter", that they bring me so much emotions?  Excited, happy, relieved, sad, teary eyed, and many more?!!! LOL!!  I am feeling so blessed to say the least, and I know God holds my son in his hands!!

Hey how are you doing? Just wondering if you may have received a letter from your SR. We received ours yesterday. He said that the first week was rough..said they had very little sleep and did not get to eat much. He also said that the worse part was the series of shots that they had to get but as the days go by it is getting a little better. He said that they are really getting better since they are now actually doing stuff. Well let me know if you got a letter very curious as to what the other SRs have to say.

Your sailor can not take anything back on base.  You must meet them at the airport unless he is going to A School in Great Lakes.  If he is then he needs to be checked in the A School there before you give it to him-so after check in on Saturday or Sunday.
