I am trying to find your post about your son being sick.  My daughter went to San Antonio for Corpsmen school in November 2011.  She was very sick with a high temp and headache.  My girlfriend used to work at University Hospital and I called her immediately.  She said to go to Brooks Army Medical Center.  My daughter took a cab to their ER and they were wonderful!  It was a sinus/double ear infection.  She was back on her feet in a couple of days.  Tell him to go right away!  The sooner they give him antibiotics the quicker he mends.  My daughter got very sick in boot camp with basically the same thing and they ordered her on bed rest for 2 days but only gave her Mucinex!

Please keep me posted!!  I know how hard it is as a mom to be far away and not be able to "fix" it.  I also know how hard it must be for your son not having someone to "take care" of him.  They certainly don't coddle you in the military!
