- A little about me:
- Licensed Crafter with the Navy. Hi! I'm Thelma Kat, the military mom behind Homeport Greetings.
I am a mom to a son who is a Navy Supply Officer. While in Officer Candidate School (OCS), Supply Corps School, and Submarine School, I searched for greeting cards to send encouragement, motivation, humor, and love from home. Still, I had difficulty finding them, so I began illustrating cards for him, and Homeport Greetings was created. From encouragements to inspiration, through boot camp, Naval Academy, Officer Candidate School, and from weathering deployments to another move, stationed far away, to boots in the house, and for those times you are so fiercely proud of your service member you can't find the words, I hope that Homeport Greetings can help you bring a little bit of home to their corner of the world. - I am here to support my

Get a head start during boot camp by joining groups for, and learning about, your Sailor's occupational specialty and "A" School; and later your Sailor's duty station and/or Navy ship and homeport. You can also join groups for your own state, region or home town and interests from getting ready for deployment to care package ideas!
