OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Susan, I just saw that you are from Puyallup. We moved to West Texas from Puyallup only seven years ago!!! We had lived there for 8 years. Wouldn't it be strange if our kids used to be friends!!! :) Justin went to Woodland Elem, Firgrove Elem, then Cascade Christian.

Hi Susan, Welcome to Molly's Adopt A Sailor. If you go to "Molly's" home page, click on "View All" in the discussion forum. Read "Are you new to Molly's Adopt A Sailor?". Lots of information there about how to do things. Also you will want to request to join "MAS We Ship Love". That is where we keep the addresses for our monthly adoptees. This provides a little security for our contacts. Glad you have joined us, we have lots of fun. Don't hesitate to send me a message, if you have any questions. Pat
