OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It took about that long to get the first letter.  I only received about 4 letters from her total.  But she would sneak write at night, so I got some long letters, the moms of boys, not much in their letters hahaha  Have you received a phone call yet from either boys?  I think about the 4-5th week is when they were allowed to call... some moms got LOTS of calls, I didn't have but three calls.  How are you doing?  Will you be able to go to PIR for the graduation?

I can not imagine how hard this must be on you.  My son left on the 8th of June and it was hard but he is halfway in now and I feel at ease (never thought I would). I still have my younger son at home and that helps so much.  You have a beautiful family and you should be doubly as proud as I am.  Best wishes.
