For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My word This website is amazing and all the moms on here are so very helpful I've learned so much!!! Thank you to those who have befriended me and help my get through these days! one of my favorite moments was when I found out that Naval Construction workers are called Sea Bees, Well its then that we came up with the name Sea bee bunny for Jennifer and I found this picture and made my heart melt the nickname in its self was so adorable and so is this picture haha! Theres 2 counters that I have ticking the one to your PIR date and the other that I started when you called me at the airport saying that your flight was leaving at 11:30 AM on September 10th so far its been 22 days 9 hours 33 minutes and 55 seconds.....call me crazy for keeping such a close tab on that time but I can't wait to stop that timer! I see you have joined Seabee Moms. Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend. What is her rating (job/specialty) going to be? There may be other info I can direct you to.
