Sorry I'm using my phone to respond and I can't see what you wrote when I respond so I forget half of what u asked lol Yeah I think he likes it he's doing alright. But if not too bad because he choose to get deployed haha he could have stayed here for another three years so I tease him about it lol. He says some days are longer and suck but overall he will probably like it. At least I hope so for his sake he's only been on the ship for a week so far so not too sure yet still

That's the navy for you lol. It sucks though I wish it would be shorter rather than longer but I don't see that happening :/. Oh well one day at a time I guess. I don't k ow that I want a tentative date from him I feel like I'd get too excited and then it would change. Oh my gosh you havent gotten any phone calls, how long has ur guy been gone (u said 3 months right)? Idk how I'm going to do that ugh! My boyfriend had to fly out to the ship so he was able to Skype me in one of the other countries he flew through but just emails and fb messenger since then. He said he's working on getting a phone card so maybe he will be able to call soon but who knows. My last name is Feder if you want to find me on Facebook I feel like communication is a little easier that way lol and it would be nice to talk to someone whose in the same boat when things get hard or harder I guess lol

Oh my gosh wow , I didnt realize that the ship was originally scheduled to leave in August? When did it leave? Aww that must have stunk, I'm trying to learn to not get too excited for anything with the military lol. I can't wait to move up there but I'm not looking forward to traffic either but I'm in Orlando so Im slightly used to it but my whole family lives in Florida so it will be hard to leave. It's like the excitement of moving and them coming back at the same time just makes it feel that much longer lol. How often do you get to talk to your guy?

Such a small world sometimes lol. He just got there do if he hasn't meet him yet he probably will haha. Yeah I'm not going to know anyone in the area either and it will be my first move on my own so I'm a little nervous but mostly excited. I had him leave a couple voicemails on my phone so that when I need to hear his voice I can I'm worried I'm going to miss a call from him at some point though :/

Welcome to NavyForMoms.com!!

I hope you get all the information here you are looking for.  Please stop by the Survival Guide for New Moms for some of the info to start with.
If you have a new Recruit and need phone cards for them please check out Calls for Recruits.org and get them for FREE.  I feel that the Family, Loved Ones, nor the Men and Women of our Armed Forces should have to pay for phone calls from Boot Camp.  The link above will take you to the website to send the email for the FREE phone cards if you need them.  Please spread the word if you know of anyone who can use this great service!!!
