Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Bella, how are you? My SR is on light duty now, it's her knee, ankle and now hip that's hurting her, She only has about 47 days left. I don't know what to do, She's starting to talk about SEPS. She still has 6 more tries (PFA) run. Do they still have to allow those six tries? She seems so defeated in the letters I get. All her friends in RCU have moved on and become Sailors, so I can imagine how she feels. Please, if you know anything, let me know. I can't stop crying every time I think about how she must feel and her last 3 calls, all she could do was cry. I'm so.lost, Bella, She wants this so bad and I am still sending encouraging letters.

My daughter is not in RCU anymore, she is in the FIT program,  what is it and what do they do there, I haven't gotten a call from her in almost 2 weeks, only one call to tell me she didn't pass her PFA and neither did 25 other SR's.  Only one.letter as well and it was dated July 16th, an old letter, must have gotten lost in the shuffle.  I don't.know what's going on and its driving me crazy.  I really need some answers,  I'm hugging the phone right now, 24/7, waiting for anything, a letter, a call, just anything, I'm very worried about her.  She sounds so depressed lately.

Hi Bella, it's Debbie.  I get your message,  thanks.  May be it was my daughter,  Imperial Beach is not a big town, it's a little beach city.  That's good to hear,  I do hope the know each other, that would be nice.  Lauren should be getting out soon,  three weeks, that's about all I know....  boy, I sure miss her.  Sometimes I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack because I have no way of getting in touch with her if I need to.  Her father is really sick, terminal.  Maybe you know someway I can get a hold of her in case of an emergency,  thanks Bella.
