Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A little about me:
My husband Chris left for Boot Camp on 9/12/12 and I miss him like crazy! We have two little ones, 5 and almost 8 and I am sure that they feel the same! I am super proud of my husband for wanting to defend his country and be a part of something greater than himself, while bettering himself for the future.

hey thanks girl! i'm hanging in there....hoping that when i get home today there's a letter in my mail box....i'll let you know! you're so lucky! well at least we know it's starting finally - real contact! LOL....now you can always stalk the mailbox for more!

Hey...my fiance is going to Pensacola FL for A school. He'll be there for about 4 months I believe. He entered boot camp as an E3, because he has a 4 year college degree and his job is an aviation specialist. I believe that's the title. And yea, flights were crazy. At least you have a bit shorter ride than me! I dread it...but then again...it's exciting to know I'll be driving to see him :)

Oh cool! I'm a few hours from Pitts. I'm near Philadelphia. My drive will be a lovely 11.5 hours. I was looking at roundtrip flights and they're so expensive! Oh well, it will be so worth the long agonizing trip lol. I'm very excited myself. The longer time apart it gets a bit harder...sometimes sad, but I'm trying to put into perspective that it's only time that puts us more closer to PIR. We def gotta meet up there :) I can't wait to see our handsome sailors!!

Hey that's so cool! I didn't realize that! What part of PA are you from? Your husband is graduating the same day as my fiance I assume? We def have plenty in common so keep in touch. I'm looking forward to week three....hopefully we get some letters or a random call would be wonderful. How have you been holding up since he left?

 I was reading more of your comment and your husband and my daughter or both in 367 div. I am glad to be able to talk to other people who are going through the same feelings that I am. I am still in what I call mommy withdraws. I miss her a lot but i know she doing a great thing. Is there any pointers that you can give me to help not miss her so much thanks lisabeth
