DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hey! He hasn't gotten his orders yet, but everyone tells him that his rate (AT) will be going to Pensacola. I know some of the nukes go to Charleston, SC (I'm from SC!) but maybe there are other places they can go? I'm prettyyyyyyy excited for 9/1/11! My SR seems to think that he will be leaving the night of PIR, but I don't know where he got that info..i haven't heard that from anyone else. That's pretty cool that they know each other! I wonder what they talk about :) he told me that all the guys get really emotional and all anyone ever talks about is their gf/wife/fiance. :)

Yeah, we plan on getting married. We were going to before, but his recruiter said something about having to redo paperwork and someone else in his DEP group got kicked out after doing it all over again, so instead of going through all that we decided to wait until his A school. Whenever he starts getting weekend liberty I plan to drive to FL (only 8 hours away) and have a small wedding on the beach or something. What about you guys?! Any plans yet?

Our countdown is in the 30's now!! woohoo!! And I know what you mean about the shock of him leaving. We've been dating for over 5 years and have been living together for about 4, so it was very hard to see him leave. I can't wait for a letter! Hopefully this week! :)

Hi Britney! Finally I find someone in the same division as my fiance!! So, how are you dealing with it all? It was so rough on me at first but I've come a long way. I'm writing him every night before i go to sleep, still waiting on my first letter!!
