Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Collinmom20 - I just saw your post on the main room chat. Were you able to find the information that Partyofseven was trying to give you.
You might want to post a note in the BC Mom group. Shoosh's daughter just came home from BC and was in Ship 5 I think. She ended up having shin splints and not able to do her run. I think she is planning on training and going back for a second try.
Collinmom20 - Welcome to the BC Mom group. I apologize for my delay posting a welcome for you here. We are all just moms with busy lives and from your occupation, I would say you are likely not going to have a lot of time to keep up with everything here. The easiest way is to probably just read through the pages of the group as you are able. The email feeds can get overwhelming at times.
Feel free to send me a friend request and then you can ask me questions privately if you need to, I do my best to keep up with my PMs even if I can't keep up with the group.
Here is belovedbyHim's blog - First Things First-- The Quarantine Edition
We are glad you are here. If you need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. My son is 3+ years in the Navy, and is in the fleet now as a Nuke.
