Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I just got back from graduation and WOW!!! is all I can say. I am a Navy veteran and now my son... it's an awesome family tradition we now celebrate together, not usual for a mother and son to share. I still have so many emotions running through my mind and body, celebrating my son graduating on Friday, sitting with him at the USO office on Saturday until he had to leave and Monday busing around to all our local cemetery's with my legion buddies. My daughter wants to know if your son is traveling in civilian clothes?
It is funny that I just read your post. I had told my daughter that someone on N4M's has a son traveling on the 23rd from Mpls also. I just signed on to send you a message and then I saw yours. She flys out of Mpls at 6:05pm on Delta. When does your son leave. Hopefully they are on the same flight. She is getting nervous today. We live in Duluth and are heading down to Mpls tomorrow. It would be great for them to have a travel friend.
