While it is amazing how supporting all the moms/fathers/gfds from all ships/divisions are it is always good to have close contact with those in the same division this way what we don’t hear from our children other parent/gfd can share their news…. I have been receiving updates from Linda, for some reason my letters are taking longer to arrive, not to mention my son has been writing short notes he calls letters. Just Saturday and while I was away in FL a 3 pages letter arrive at home in NJ, needless to say I had to wait for my husband to get home so he could read it….. most probably at this time you know they are doing great….and what I can make out of his letter they are working very hard to earn as much flags as possible. He said the flags lets them march on their own without RDC’s and let the div as whole to sing “cadence” while they are marching….oh and I also receive a quick call to confirm he is g&g.
I was worry sick about how my son was doing, but as the time goes by he has proven to be doing better and better…..and they are also counting the days as we are.
Hung in there, this part is almost over.
Hugs!
