Tina. Heather's very proud mom!!!
Boy, i can totally relate to getting the "box" i thought that i had prepared myself for it.... NOT! I was coming back from checking the mail to see if i had recieved my first letter yet and there he was (the Fed Ex) guy standing there with "the box" I busted out in tears, i also, looked at it for a while before opening it, crazy i know, first thing i noticed was that her writing had changed (cried even more) first sign of my baby already changing. Opened it hoping to find a note? looked in every pocket, nothing. Anyways, Heather joined the Navy so that they could pay for her schooling, she had two years pre-med up at Uof I (10 to go)... She didn't want to be $100,000 in the hole when she got out of school. The job she chose to do in the Navy is, Aviation elect. Tech, hoping she will be on a carrier. We'll see what happens after boot camp? What about your son, what made him want to join the Navy and what will he be doing?
I just recieved my "first" sign that my daughter is still kick'n. she sent me some info about graduation. Yeah!!! It took 10 days (LONG DAYS...)
She did go thru the recruiters across from Mt. View. (do you love our recruiters?) Heather went to Meridian Medical Arts High School, grad, in 08' she has been up at University of Idaho up in Moscow, the past two years. she went in the Navy as an E-3, cuz of her two years of college.
What an adorable picture of you and your son. How old is he? and what school did he graduate from? :D
