OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am currently married to the most amazing guy in the whole world. = ) He is at Basic Training until Dec 22nd and I miss him very much. I basically joined to get as much info as I can so I can know what to expect, and for support too. After he returns and gets settled I plan on moving to Pensacola, the sight of his schooling to live near, and hopefully with him. I know being a Navy Wife is going to be tough, but it is definitely going to be worth it. I love you H!
