Hey glad to hear all is good for you. Nick didn't get bitten, he just had marks against him, one he was stading too close to another guy and his dog, they both got marks for that, the second was the choke chain was not on tight, and the last was they were inspecting cars (on the teaching field ) and his dog broke loose from him. He said that he could really tell the difference in himself and the others there that had more military experience. Maybe they should go back to the old rule , work some then come for MWD. He wants to go back but will wait a few years. Keep me posted on David. We will definitely go to visit Spain! Let me know if I can send anything to your sailor, give me his address and we will send goodie boxes.
Hey friend,
Feel like its been FOREVER since I have been on here. I have been wondering about David and his deployment. Well things have changed for Nick he got to about 3 weeks left in K9 school and had gotten 3 marks on him and decided he was not ready do that . He thought that he needed to work some and go back in a couple of years. He got a great recommendation to come back. He said he was in there with guys who had been in the military a while and he could really tell a difference with himself and them. He will be going to Rota Spain. Do you know if they have their passport before they go? He does not have one yet, and I am worried because he leaves San Antonio in the am. WHat is your experience with that? Hope all is well for you, keep me updated on David, you and him are in my prayers daily . :)
Our group adopted a dog unit a year ago over in the sand box. It was fun thinking of things to send out.
You will be in my prayers that all Moms pray for deployed troopers.

WOO HOOO HE GOT THE JOB!!!!! SOOOO EXCITED FOR HIM (AND ME LOL). There were 2 of them , the one girl did not show up (Praise the Lord). The other girl was not chosen only Nick. He said the interview was good but they did most of it with both of them , and they ask him to tell them one reason she should not get in to the program. He said it was hard but he told them she did not have enough confidence in herself. When they told him in the end that she was not chosen and he was , they agreed with him she was not confident she needed to get some more experience and try again later. They told him they thought at first he was a LITTLE COCKY, (He was a mascot in college and the name of i was COCKY LOL) but they realized he was not cocky but confident in himself. WHEWWWWW!!!! . He is really excited and I know that he will DO GREAT!!!! Will keep you updated and you do the same for your son!!
