Sorry I have not gotton back to you sooner. Sometimes I just need to get off the computer and just take a break from things.

I have not sent packages via Navy yet but I have numerous packages that I sent to my son that was in the Army for 8 years doing multiple deployments. Some things they ask you not to try and send like chocolate because you will have a melty glob in your package.

This page might help: http://www.uspc.com/supportingyoutroops/

There are other pages but I think the best ones to know what to send and not to send and how to package things the post office would be the best.

Have a blessed day and talk to you soon!

Chad is doing well. He has be on grad hold due to knee issues. All the swimming and pt took its toll on his knee. He will not be doing RSS. He will stay in Air Crew. So waiting to see whats ahead for him. He is really happy in Air Crew and has met wonderful people. Chad loves Pensacola! When he was home for a weekend visit he picked up his car. That really made him happy. Enjoy your son! Please stay in touch! ;-)

We are staying at the Navy Lodge....Not sure how the accomodations will be, but what the heck... Danielles older sister (Nicole) is coming with us and she wanted the "full effect". Where have you chosen to stay? Where in the country are you coming from? We are coming from Arizona..... We fly in on Thursday and staying through Sunday!

I talked to Danielle today...seems Trevor was near by....she said that Trevor has been so helpful and inspiring to her in tough times. She was so thankful to have met him. I could here him say hello in the back ground. Danielle is doing well. She said that she has had some tough moments, but that Trevor helps to get her spirits up. I was so thankful to hear that. She said that he speaks of his girlfriend and family often. You have raised an amazing son! Danielle was upbeat and said that she loves getting my letters. I have written everyday and she has encouraged me to keep it up! Can't wait to wrap my arms around her..... but hearing her voice was so great (but a little hoarse).

Take Care

Take Care.
