OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

RTC Graduation

Hi Marty,

Found you on FB (provided it is a pic of a young man with a white sailor hat on his head) and sent you an invite.

My son was ship 11 (Kearsarge) and division 057 and brother division 058 - his PIR was 1/28/11 and is now on grad hold after Power School and awaiting Prototype to start up...supposed to be either April or June.

How about you?  Did you get a call yet?

Marty - do you Facebook?  We're in a group on facebook called BC Family N4M.  It is a nice group of ladies and we're all lifting each other up on a regular basis.  Facebook is easier to see posts on.  The group is closed, so it is private place to cry, vent or shout for joy.  If you want to join, I'll give the gal who administers it your name.

Thanks for your kind words - I just found your note today.  We have spent the last few days going through his apartment (packing and throwing out) and have much still to do.  Being busy makes it easier, I think.  Prayers for your recruit - thanks again!  Cheryl
