Found you on FB (provided it is a pic of a young man with a white sailor hat on his head) and sent you an invite.
My son was ship 11 (Kearsarge) and division 057 and brother division 058 - his PIR was 1/28/11 and is now on grad hold after Power School and awaiting Prototype to start up...supposed to be either April or June.
Hi Marty, I would also like to friend you on facebook if you want. My fb name is Holly Van Wert & my profile picture is my son at 7 yrs old saluting. Glad to know our boys will be headed to Nuke School together. Still waiting for a phone call or a 2nd letter. How about you? Did you get a call yet?
Marty - do you Facebook? We're in a group on facebook called BC Family N4M. It is a nice group of ladies and we're all lifting each other up on a regular basis. Facebook is easier to see posts on. The group is closed, so it is private place to cry, vent or shout for joy. If you want to join, I'll give the gal who administers it your name.
Thanks for your kind words - I just found your note today. We have spent the last few days going through his apartment (packing and throwing out) and have much still to do. Being busy makes it easier, I think. Prayers for your recruit - thanks again! Cheryl
