DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hello Michelle,
I have a response from Ning. Please see below. Hope this helps! Let me know if this solves the issues for you. Thanks. -Tiffany
"Thanks for writing! Normally, errors with uploading images are browser-related. First, can your member ensure that they are using a supported browser? Ning 2.0 works well with these browsers:
-Firefox
-Chrome
-Safari 5.1 and Safari 6
-Internet Explorer 8 and 9
Next, can they ensure Flash is up-to-date? (If on Chrome, no need to check this, as it has Flash built-in)http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
Just for reference, just about any image should work as long as it is a GIF, JPG or PNG image that is under 10 MB in size. We recommend square images that are larger than 183 x 183 pixels. Anything larger will be compressed/resized to fit that space. If the image is being added from a smartphone, she may want to email herself the image first so she can ensure it is in the proper orientation on other devices, and adjust the image from there.
For more information on updating a profile picture, please check this page: http://www.ning.com/help/?p=4464."

It's not a good idea to post a pic of your Sailor every time you post. See change 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link).
Also make change 3 while you are there so that this page is no longer open to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web.
There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP code to one that is not easily associated with your Sailor.
If you have a Sailor in the fleet, what is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) and/or where is she stationed (what vessel, if one)? If she is in "A" School or training, what is her rating or field going to be? There may be groups I can direct you to.

Hello Michelle,
I'll have to ask Ning how you can make sure your picture is upright. They handle the technical aspects of the site. It takes them anywhere between 24-48 hours to respond.
Thanks for your patience,
Tiffany
