OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I agree, the busier we are the faster the time will fly...  I am leaving to go on vacation with my sister.  She made plans to take my to prague, czech republic for my 50th birthday. (our father is from there - parker's grandfather)  I am so excited - but nervous and then we get back on the 8th of july, turn around to leave on the 11th for chicago...  I am very excited to see my son in PIR.  I hope you and I get to meet - that would be fun. Wednesdays have been the days I have gotten mail - so I will keep my fingers crossed.  I have not gotten many calls - the first 15 second one and then 1 other.  But he has to split his time up between me, his dad and his girlfriend.  She has gotten the most calls and letters:)  lol  ... oh well, I  am just so glad he likes what he is doing and is being very successful too.  if i get a call from my son - i will ask him about you husband - its a long shot, but something sticks in my head that he mentioned his bunkmate being from california???  talk to you soon - happy tuesday!
