A little about me:
Father, in the coming days, we will need you, but our recruits will need You more!
Let them perform their tasks with a sense of duty, not of anger or vengeance.
Let their reflexes be quick and their hands steady.
Let their heads be clear and their eyes sharp.
Let their minds and bodies be strong and their spirits strong.

God, please stand by our recruits and watch their backs when they cannot!
Father, we love our recruits! Take from US; what they need and give us
what they do not.

We will pace the nights, if it means they get some sleep.
We will deal with fatigue, if it means they have energy.
We will carry their fear, if it means it gives them courage.
We will take their pain, if it means their healthy and whole.
We will take their anger, if it means they are at peace.
Take our love and pride and let them feel it!
Let them know that we are with them every step of the way!
Please, take from us what You can; We give it willingly and with love.
It is all we have besides our prayers.
Above all, please help our recruits to achieve their goals of becoming....
United States Sailors!

Hi Sandy - hope all is well with you.  Have you heard from your son?  It's exactly 3 months from today that my son will leave for boot camp.  We are having another get together on 8/18 - a lunch in Rialto again.  Hope you can make it this time! Or will you be at graduation?  I like your pictures!
