Nancyf.  No they are not the same thing.  Hell week for our SR will start next week.  Should be Wednesday. Your daughter is on Ship 3 Div 228.  I think.  Her division and my son's Div 230 are brother divisions.  They train together.  During Hell week from what I understand the RDC's from other Divisions come in and critique each others Divisions.  They try to find faults with them in any way they can.  The SR's get up at 3:30 am and are put through Hell by the other RDC's.  Everytime a flaw or error is found they get a hit on the division.  Not physical just points against the division.  The veterans can tell you more.  If you send me a private message I will let you know when my SR said they would go into Battlestation 21.

Also please remove the comment below by jayhawkmom in which she gave her SR's full name. Thanks. You may have to do change 6 to completely remove it.

Click on OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and the Page will open in a new window. Read the Page and follow the directions at the bottom to make change 2 and change 3 (see the words in bold). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. Start with OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and read 1 or 2 pages a day and then go back to them as you need the info. What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Please help jayhawkmom with PERSEC and delete her comment below in which she gave her SR's full name. Thanks.
