Well the SEAL/SWCC option is on his plate...but he is MA .....If he decides to go for it then I hope he makes it, but, really, I would be happy with him just being MA for now...seals job is so dangerous....and they dont have much of a home life for a long time.... I have a cousin who's son is a seal...it's really tough on his family...he is gone alot....but i will be happy with whatever he chooses, and where ever the Navy life takes him...He is just excited to serve his Country....I am proud of all the young men and women who choose to serve our country, I read that there's only 2 % of our youth in the military...that's a very small % who willfully serve and I know that we are all so proud of them no matter what their duty is, they are all hero's in my book !!

I too have a daughter that just graduated High School mid year. She will walk the Grad line with her class in June, but she graduated early and started College. YEP, lots to adjust to. But, thank goodness for N4Ms we all can help support each other!!

Hey there NavyBlueHeart!

If your recruit is on Ship 3 Div 144 the correct PIR date IS 4/2/10. I have already started a whirlwind of questions going to the Public Affairs office last week...LOL.. they said that there was an error in the form letters that went home with a few recruits. The correct date is 4/2/10 and you can find that on the Recruit Command Center site. It also has quite a bit of information on there if you navigate around. :)
