OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A little about me:
***Kylie Monet Zamora... outgoing, loud, bubbly, bitchy, athletic, eats a lot... I'm happy where I am in life and I'm proud of myself! I worked hard to get where I am today!! I do miss my family A LOT but they are proud of me and understand what I am doing. and its an experience not everyone can have. I love and miss you guys SO MUCH. On June 24th 2008 i joined the US Navy as a military police officer. I just finished my first duty tour in Guam where i loved the friends and the scuba diving.
I am now going aboard the USS Carl Vinson homeport of San Diego, CA.
I am a navy wife but also a navy sailor and plan on staying that way for awhile hopefully.
I love my Husband, always trying to help keep me motivated to stay in shape or stay in line lol jk. being in love with your best friend who understands when your venting really helps you at the end of the day when you need someone!! XOXO this new deployments will be a challenge but i am sure we can get through it.
Its not hard for me to have a good time. I like taking it day by day and enjoying every minute. Time goes by too fast and we gotta make sure we take some of it in! I don't care what people think about me!!!! I've learned that from my dad and brother but now more in the navy too. It makes life easier and when you can just smile. God Bless All. x0x0x0

***The Navy Diver is not a fighting man, he is a salvage expert. If it is lost underwater, he finds it. If it's sunk, he brings it up. If it's in the way, he moves it. If he's lucky, he will die young, 200 feet beneath the waves, for that is the closest he'll ever get to being a hero. Hell, I don't know why anybody would want to be a Navy Diver***
