FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

hope you all have a wonderful time at the meet up and give everyone my hugs, I just cant be there, other son graduates tonight from St louis police academy and straight from there to chicago but I hope to meet ya if there is time, You have been great to me and others, I hope I can help others on here when the other son goes on Oct 4th, , It has been an exhausting couple of months , and will continue until the other son is out of boot camp too, I think your wonderful and it was so nice to meet you .

thanks I was already on there from before but never thought to look at the discussion board , im slow but sure lol. I am getting very excited for all of this to end and get to the point i can text and talk to my son again ,,,, what a ride it has been

, just checking in to see how all of you are doing, , I am not on here as much as I would like to be but do read all the post, my son said marching is going much better and he is still having a blast, ,still havetn figured out who the twins moms is yet , have you/\? getting close and am really xcited to get to the end of this , lol hope to hear from you , I dont think there are many of us from 313 on here , Take care diana

Hi Pritter,
I did get a letter yesterday. My son says they are busy and the division is pulling together and starting to look good as far as marching, "they are marching in step". My son sounds good, excited to see us. How is your son doing? Only 21 more days, ya!!!!!!!
