DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Stephanie ~ Our son, Jacob graduates (PIR) on 04/08 and is in Div 920 - we will be so glad to see him. Great to hear is voice last week. I still remember (vividly) the night at the hotel before the swearing in - hared to believe they are just 3 weeks from completion. :-)

We got our travel booked - just trying to decide where to stay...

Ladies, I have another girlfriend who has a  SR is in a different ship, she hasn't received a phone call either, I think we will all be getting that long awaited call around the same time. They only get a couple during the 9 weeks. Im thinking maybe this weekend and one just before grad day. Hang in there Moms :)

Good morning!! Thank you for your friend request, I most gladly accept!  My son left W.WA on 2/9. I'm not sure if he's doing PIR on 4/8 or the following week. Yes, I'm still waiting for the form letter and notification of his PIR. I just pray that everything is going great for our boys. Whenever I see a post saying their child is being sent back a week or two or being sent home, I feel naseous! LOL   I look forward to getting to know you better. Denise is just WONDERFUL. I have grown to absolutely adore her! She took me under her wing immediately and advocated like crazy for me to get me on here. It seemed like it took so very long!  I hope you have a lovely day and that your form letter comes soon. Also, I'm praying that the phone cards that my hubby purchased are the right ones......ugh!

I have been gone to Austin for two days sorry my comment is so long in coming.  My son made that comment before he left. I think you might be right.  That would be much closer to visit. They have great schools there for medical.

Good evening, I agree that all of this is very over whelming. At church this morning we heard such a great message regarding looking at the storm instead of looking at Jesus.  It was such a great message.  I know this isn't a storm but, sometime when I stay on this website for to long it seems like a storm. :) I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully our sons will be graduating at the same time and we can actually meet each other.  Have a good evening.
