Rosanne,
My daughter will be home for Christmas too. She is so ready to come home for a while. She is on hold too. They have not given her a start date. I am hoping that she convenes in January too. I don't want her on hold for too long. However, while there in GL, I did have a chance to talk with some young sailors. Some have been there for at least 5 months waiting on their A school to start. That is insane to me. So, meanwhile, she is mustering daily at different times of the day for holds muster and duty section muster. She passed her first test, so now she is in Phase II status. Phase II allows her to wear her civilian clothes, only has to have one liberty buddy, and her liberty expires at midnight v. 2200.
Hi Rosanne,
Sorry for the late response. Either way, your husband did a great job! I always took note of it when I would pass by it in the NL. I am glad to hear that we were not loud. I hope your daughter is doing good.
Glad to have you aboard!! Thanks for joining us.
Hi Roseanne, after speaking with my daughter today, I think that we were neighbors! I hope that we were not too loud at times. Your anchor was so nice. Good job on that!
Remember to change your sailor status to Enlisted now!!
Once you start having communication and keep yourself busy, the time does go by a little faster.
Thanks for posting!! Two letters, if I recall? And a phone call, and a long one! That is awesome!
Rosanne, that is fine. There are a lot of members who never post anything and just read. It is also a lot of information to process, so one day at a time. :-)
Good morning Rosanne, I hope you are following along with our chats on the Comment Wall on the BC Mom group page. Please don't hesitate to reach out and post any questions you might have. That is the best place to ask and know that hopefully someone will be able to reply if some of us regulars aren't able to be around this weekend.
And if your question gets missed, please don't hesitate to ask again.
Rosanne -- I'm glad my blog has been helpful. Reach out here or on the Boot Camp Moms page if there is anything we can help with.
