DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Nice! I can't book anything until we get our first paycheck.. I am praying it is on the 15th! But I heard it might not be until his fourth week.. We are thinking of staying at the Ramada because they have a little reception and they have a shuttle to the base. I don't drive so that would be amazing for me! When are you leaving? I am going to try to find a red eye flight for Wednesday night because driving the 3 hours in the morning will be killer for my grandma. Hopefully she will be ok with dropping me off at 11 at night..

I got about the same letter. He told me to BE STRONG. He is doing fine and he loves his camos and the food is good but not as good as mine. I am looking up flights and hotels too.. can't make up my mind though and am terrified he will be grad-n-go... My husband is going to Charleston, SC after for Nuke school. Luckily I get to go with him because it is a long school!

I got my form letter today! Did you get yours? Our PIR is April 30th! Can't wait to get everything rolling now! Where to stay.. what to do.. My husband said he is doing fine and the food is ok but he missed my food. He told me to stay strong and send him pictures and phone cards. I cried my eyes out when I saw his hand writing and letter.. Where do you think you might stay? Oh! And what job is your son going for?

My husband called me on Saturday too! I didn't think he was going to call for two weeks because that is what he said in his 10 second call.. I missed the call on my cell and he left a message crying but he thankfully caught me on my home phone. He said things were going ok but he missed me and our son a lot. I got my box on Tuesday as well and am watching out the window for the mail lady today.. I bet she hates me already!

It is great to hear that there is someone in the same division as my husband on here! How is everything going? Have you gotten your kid in a box and form letter yet? I have received the box but not the form letter. I am excited to have his PIR date verified so I can start booking everything!
