Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It's about a 4 hr. drive but it's all interstate traffic I believe so not so bad. you take care as well. Tell him to look Stephen up sometime, I know he would love to keep in touch with him.

hey!!! I actually talk with Stephen everyday since graduation!!! he went to San Antonio, Texas and he was on the first flight out of Chicago that Sat. am at 5:20 am. we were so sad that we didn't get much time with him but we are planning to fly out to Texas in Nov. for his A school graduation. I just got back from SC yesterday. what part is he at? we are not too far from there if he ever needs anything you can let me know and I'll get it to him if you need me to.

I met your son friday at Ricky heaven!! he was such a sweet young man! he introduced himself to me and said I was a legend there in the division. he came over and shook my hand and said it was a pleasure to meet me. I was so impressed with him! Such a sweetheart!!! where did he go for A school?

momma hen, the password for the gate pass is on the form letter that you were sent at the beginning. It is located at the top of page 2 I believe and it will be in his handwriting. you will have to go the website and print this off using the password. i hope this helps. let me know

At least you were able to find someone else to go with you Momma Hen!!! That was good news! As far as after graduation, I think we are planning to spend the whole day with my son catching up with him so I don't want to plan for anything until I know how his schedule is gonna run. but we can after we drop them off that night back on base if you want. Just let me know if that's gonna work for ya! I am getting soooo excited!!! We are leaving on Monday and we will be there on Wed. for some sight seeing and rest before we meet everyone on thurs. and of course seeing our little sailors!!!!! Can't wait!!!

I hope we do get a chance to meet but if not thursday then we will proabably see one another at PIR! We are also excited! We don't have long to go now!!! We are leaving on Mon (11th) to head up there. We have 5 of us going so too expensive for all of us to fly so we are making a road trip and doing some sight seeing as well. I wrote in my letter about chatting with you and to telll him that we did. Isn't this a neat way to get to know who our sons are friends with!!!

Where are you staying? If you are at the Ramada-Waukegan, we can still meet up later if you get in late! I'm sure we would still be up for a bit!! would love to hear all about your son's adventures!!! That's great that he is friends with my SR!!!!!!! I'll have to write and tell him that we are chatting on here!!! he will be so excited to know that!! What is your son's rating? will he be going to San Antonio too?
