**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).  Still limited to 2 guests maximum.

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Hi, I wanted to welcome you to the AECF group!   Looks like your son is just getting underway with his Navy career but he going into a great field.  He will spend about a year in GL for school and then will move to another state for C school.  Length and location will be determined at the end of A school.  My hubby was an FC for over 10 years and now our son is an FC and is stationed in Hawaii.  Yep, he's loving life!  Let us know what questions you may have and welcome to the group!

Welcome aboard! I have relatives in Alameda, CA. We also moved from NY to PA in 2003. Corey is 21 and couldn't wait to go into the Navy. He did the college/nothing job route for a few years, but wanted to serve his country. Once you read my excerpt on our Div page it will be clearer to you. Needless to say, he was able to get his Chef job through the Navy, which he had been pursuing at a tech school here. He, also, volunteered for submarines, so has to A Schools to attend before he gets his first assignment. He, like your son, signed up for 6 yrs., but will probably make the Navy his career.
I will ask him if he knows Tyler and that we have been talking on N4M's. They get a kick out of that fact. I hope you can be at the Meet and Greet on Jan.20th @ the Ramada-Waukegan. It will be wonderful to speak in person.
In the meantime, get yourself over to our group {group hug}. We are all on this 'journey' together!!

Hi, TamiS- So nice to make your acquaintance. I love our small group. We seem to have much in common beyond our SR's. What is your son's 1st name? I will be sure to ask Corey if he knows him and hopefully, they are friends, as well. I think they get a kick out of how much we Mom's know. I hope we all hear from them soon. It seems like our Division is the last in everything, but I know they are all safe and well cared for. Look forward to sharing our daily "rants" and joys.
