This shouldn't impact his PIR at all - it was just something they (RTC) did internally.

I saw you had a question regarding the division changes.  Here's the info that was posted by RTC regarding this:

Due to a recent reorganization, we needed to relocate divisions into new ships (barracks). Although recruits will be afforded opportunities to call and provide their new addresses, below is a list of where the divisions are being moved to:

• Training Group 22 with Divisions 165-170 are now located in Ship 14
• Training Group 23 with Divisions 171-176 & 812 are now located in Ship 3
• Training Group 24 with Divisions 177-182 are now located in Ship 4
• Training Group 25 with Divisions 183-190 are now located in Ship 6
• Training Group 26 with Divisions 191-196 are now located in Ship 7
• Training Group 27 with Divisions 197-204 are now located in Ship 11
• Training Group 28 with Divisions 205-208 are now located in Ship 12

All 900s divisions will remain in Ship 2.

Remember, the training group and division your recruit was assigned to is not changing, only the ship. All ships addresses are located here: https://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/faq.html

Thank you,
Your RTC Public Affairs Team
