Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

SUNDAY (wife of SR in DIV 293 Ship11)

So, was hoping for a phone call from my husband today - last time we spoke when he called for some addresses they needed for his S.C. he said he thought they were getting a call home today up to an hour....its 616pm .... I have been pacing the house all day waiting to hear his voice.

I pray I do get to hear from him - if not I am almost certain we get a call home at week 3.

At least I can find comfort knowing he got all the letters I wrote so far. I havent sent many…

Awww I can't wait to meet Evelyn. I'm glad you are bringing her :) I should already be here when you get in so I'll see you at the Meet and Greet. Thanks again for letting us use the extra two spots. James will be so happy. Hope you had a good weekend. 3 1/2 weeks to go. Can't believe we've made it almost 5 :)

hey there! i can't believe at ALL its halfway over tomorrow. that makes me so happy and quite proud of myself :) i'm so happy the hubbies are friends!! we booked at the ramada too. when do you get in? we're flying in tuesday evening, his A school is in great lakes so wednesday i'm actually going to look at apartments. is your precious little one coming? i was looking at your pictures the other night, she is beautiful! graduation will be here before we know it!!

what?! that is going to be ridiculous if the poor things have been there for THREE weeks with no mail. :( hopefully we get a letter/call before the end of the weekend. hope you're having a good week!!

Beautiful baby! So did you get to talk to him and get this information? We got a letter from Stephen the same day we got his box and then we got his form letter.

Whitney - great to connect with someone else from Div 293. It is great to see these contacts growing. Read your post about their division not doing so well - what is the news on this. Let's keep in touch! Great to have encouragement from each other. My son is 21 and the youngest of 3. I have a 27 year old son and 25 year old daughter, both married and have blessed me with 4 granddaughters - ages 4 down to 10 month.
