OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I see you have joined some groups and adjusted as a Navy family. I am going to be removing my self as your Friend because I am stepping back to concentrate on some business projects. If you need me, you’ll find me on a daily basis in the SF Bay Area Navy Families group (click on link). That is my “home” group where I am the creator/admin. I am frequently on the New Moms Stop Here too since I am also one of the admins. Best of luck to you and your sailor. Regards, BunkerBee.

Just a suggestion. Change your Privacy settings to either Members or Just My Friends--anyone with web access can visit this page as you have it now; after the change, only members or Friends can see what is here. (Click on Settings in the upper right and then Privacy in the upper left of the next page.) Blessings to you and yours.

I see you joined Care package ideas. I would love to have you join Molly's Adopt a Sailor group. Some months I can only send a card or letter, other months I have enough private sponsors to send 4-6 boxes. No matter what, it is always a great warm fuzzy. Also, if you start getting too many e-mails from N4M, just click on "don't follow" and then yo can just check up on your groups when you sign on.

Hi
I lived in Mt. Vernon for many years--just passed by your city on the way down to S.Carolina a few times this year.
Be sure and look up these groups.
