Do you think you can make the packing party at Sheryl's on the 25th?  Would be so great to meet you IRL.

I try to get a decent pic with my phone. It is the only camera I have right now.  Maybe I can get a good close-up of one - trying to get 3 in the pic won't show you anything I'm afraid.  I tried to pack them so that they would look festive right from the get-go!!  Hope YOU approve!

Haven't heard back from Helen yet as to the date, but I think we should go ahead and start chatting and figure out what we want to do.  Especially since we may not get a lot of lead time.  I really do hope it will work out for you to come.  I tried to find someone more half-way thru the state to see if we could find a place to meet, but no success.  Oh well.  Feel free to add ideas to the MA Navy Mom site.  Right now no one is talking but me...

Hi Anne Marie!

We're having a party!  Helen is going to get us a date and we are going to meet in a room at her church in Milford (I think the church is in Milford) so right down the Pike to 495S and you'll be there.  I'll get you better directions or maybe Helen should!

Check out the MA Navy Moms page and add your thoughts to the discussion.  Anxious to hear from you and get some new thoughts and ideas!!  No pressure tho ... lol

Good morning to you Anne Marie!

I haven't heard from any of the MA Mommas about a packing party.  Not sure if they can't do one, or perhaps they haven't read the comment?!  I have a couple of health issues going on right now so my husband has said no to having a party.  Also, my son is deploying on Oct. 31st so that is weighing heavy on me.  Maybe we can try to do something small and quick in Nov.?  I will contact the mom of the month and see what she has to say.  In the meantime, I will try to reach some of the Moms and get a direct answer.

The plan for this adoption is to send a small priority box (the ones that cost $4.95 to ship) with a small gift and candy treats to open on Christmas morning.  Another thing they are hoping for is a small stocking with a candy cane and any other treats you wish to add.  Plus a Christmas card and a home-made pillowcase.  I have 6 pillowcases to send, but that is as far as I have gotten.  I have GOT to get my act in gear!  Maybe I can get to the Christmas Tree Store and find some stockings to add to that box.  The candy canes aren't out yet.  Guess I'll have to wait until after Halloween!

Good morning!  I was thinking about you & wondered if you'd like to be involved with a packing party for our Christmas adoptees.  Sounds weird, Christmas and it is only Oct. but we have to get ready because we will need to ship early so they have their packages for Christmas day.  I guess it is a good thing stores already have some Christmas things out for us... lol  Let me know if and how you'd like to jump in to the happenings of MA Moms.
